I call Bethany.
ring. ring. riiing.
Me: hey whats up?
Beth: nothin much, just watching a movie. Mom says "Come watch it with us!"
Me: haha, I wanna come and watch it with you!
Beth: my mommy says "We have ice cream!"
Me: okay. hold on a sec.
(to mom) mommmyyy, Bethany & Tab want us to come watch a movie with them. they have ice cream!
Mom: yum. did Tab really say that or are you two being devious little sneaks?
Me: Tab wants us to. I SWEAR!
Mom: hmmm....
Me: Here.
(to Beth) my mom wants to talk to your mom.
we both shove the phone at our moms.
they talk.
Mom: freeze. wait here.
mumbling in the hallway.
mom enters the room.
Mom: we'll be there in 40 minutes.
Me: (to beth) we'll be there in 40 minutes!
[personal sound effects]. happy dance.
Beth: bye
Me: see ya
we hang up.
after throwing on some jeans and a thermal we hit the road.
8:27 pm
driving to Beth's.
drive, drive, drive.
Mom: should we get something?
Me: ya.
Mom: okay. what?
Me: pretzels. chocolate covered pretzels.
Mom: you mean yogurt covered pretzels?
Me: no. chocolate covered pretzels.
Mom: oh. yum...
8:40 pm
we walk out of the store.
with a large bag of plain pretzels, a medium bag of dark chocolate covered pretzels, a medium bag of white chocolate pretzels, and a 8 pack of mini reese's.
8:53 pm
we open the goods.
we catch up for a bit.
11:00 pm
we start the movie: Death At A Funeral.
12:47 am
Me & Beth stretch and go get the ice cream.
after the ice cream is served,
we start the next movie: Get Smart.
Bethany falls a sleep half way through.
2:30 am
we stretch again. we lay there.
i throw a pillow in Bethany's face. (one of those really cool beanie pillows)
she wakes up. She yawns. I yawn.
2:43 am
everyone hugs.
hug hug hug.
3:29 am
we arrive home.
we make tea.
we drink tea.
then we crash.
