I am soooo sorry I haven't been blogging anything amazing lately. I've been busy. Yes, I know thats no excuse.
Oh and the 25th was my Birthday. SO HA. Thats my excuse.
Oh. Aaand, I can't find the stupid cord to my camera.
I will though. Eventually.

I finally got a new Ipod, after losing it like a year ago.
It has been heck trying to block out everything without an Ipod.
But now I am happy. Happy, happy, happy.

OhMYGOSH. Yesterday, as you know I went to the Goodwill outlet(where you pay by the pound), and it was amazing! It was a tad overwhelming at first. It is in a large warehouse and nothing is separated or anything. Everything is in these large blue bins, in piles of clothes, shoes, or blankets & stuff. You have to dig, dig, dig, to find anything cool. But after I got my rhythm down, it was awesome! I doubt the people I went with had nearly as much fun as I did(they didn't get anything), but thats alright, because they made an effort and I had lotsa fun! Not everyone has fun digging through bins of dirty clothes in search of something which you don't know of. And thats okay. :)
It was sooo cheap, I got:
•An old, worn-looking, olive-y green, leather, briefcase thing
•A black canvas tote that says "The Art Institute of Chicago" and has a lion on it
•A pair of black slack pants that need some work
•A pair of silvery-purpleish-greyish stretchy leggings/spandex things
•A pair of moccasin slippers
•Another pair of slippers
•A jacket coat thing
•A coca-cola tee
•A red & black bow-tie

all for 10$
this place is amazing.

Busy-ish weekend. At the moment, I am at Hailey's house waiting for her to come home from school. We are going to celebrate my birthday tonight eat yummy food(my aunts an amazing cook!) and watch movies or something, then tomorrow we shall take the bus to the mall. ah. what a boring word. I wish I knew a cool british word or something. Anyhoo. We are going to loligag and try on outfits and be silly and take pictures of ourselves. and eat yummy mall foods. {yay}
I'll upload some pics later. so keep checking up.
Thennn, on sunday I am meeting with a group of friends, we're going to eat breakfast and go to seattle to go thrift shopping!! It's this really cool-sounding place where they weigh your clothes. You pay by the pound! And I guess its like 0.79$ a pound!! I know, awesome. I heard that everything is in all these bins, and you get to dig around and find stuff. It sounds AMAZING!! But time will tell. I am excited, I just know that digging in bins, and bins, and bins, of dirty clothes with cool people is going to be A BLAST!! Hopefully I will find some cool pieces to add to my wardrobe...

silky pants!

I love the silky pants in Dries Van Noten SS08. They look so Elegant and comfy! I have been wanting to make some silky lounge-around type pants like them, for a while. The other day I was browsing a cool website I found recently called BurdaStyle.com -free sewing patterns, knitting patterns, and how-to's- when I stumbled upon an easy pattern(i am a definite beginner in sewing) for some comfy looking wrap pants. Anywhoo, I think I am going to try to make some out of fabric somewhat like these and we'll see what happens. My Great Auntie is like the Queen of Pack-rats and hopefully when I go to her house for Thanksgiving I can raid her HUGE assortment of fabrics & things!! Who knows, maybe I will find some fabric like this.

Me: hey whats up?
Beth: nothin much, just watching a movie. Mom says "Come watch it with us!"
Me: haha, I wanna come and watch it with you!
Beth: my mommy says "We have ice cream!"
Me: okay. hold on a sec.
(to mom) mommmyyy, Bethany & Tab want us to come watch a movie with them. they have ice cream!
Mom: yum. did Tab really say that or are you two being devious little sneaks?
Me: Tab wants us to. I SWEAR!
Mom: hmmm....
Me: Here.
(to Beth) my mom wants to talk to your mom.
we both shove the phone at our moms.
they talk.
Mom: freeze. wait here.
mumbling in the hallway.
mom enters the room.
Mom: we'll be there in 40 minutes.
Me: (to beth) we'll be there in 40 minutes!
[personal sound effects]. happy dance.
Beth: bye
Me: see ya
we hang up.
after throwing on some jeans and a thermal we hit the road.


8:27 pm
driving to Beth's.
drive, drive, drive.
Mom: should we get something?
Me: ya.
Mom: okay. what?
Me: pretzels. chocolate covered pretzels.
Mom: you mean yogurt covered pretzels?
Me: no. chocolate covered pretzels.
Mom: oh. yum...

8:40 pm
we walk out of the store.
with a large bag of plain pretzels, a medium bag of dark chocolate covered pretzels, a medium bag of white chocolate pretzels, and a 8 pack of mini reese's.

8:53 pm
we open the goods.
we catch up for a bit.

11:00 pm
we start the movie: Death At A Funeral.

12:47 am
Me & Beth stretch and go get the ice cream.
after the ice cream is served,
we start the next movie: Get Smart.
Bethany falls a sleep half way through.

2:30 am
we stretch again. we lay there.
i throw a pillow in Bethany's face. (one of those really cool beanie pillows)
she wakes up. She yawns. I yawn.

2:43 am
everyone hugs.
hug hug hug.

3:29 am
we arrive home.
we make tea.
we drink tea.
then we crash.
